On-Site Digital X-Rays

Designed for Patient: Safety &  Comfort

Now Offering On-Site, Low-Dose X-rays at Chirokinetix

At Chirokinetix, we’re committed to providing the most advanced, patient-focused care possible and that includes how we approach diagnostic imaging. We’re excited to announce that our clinic is now equipped with a brand-new, in-house digital X-ray system, custom-installed to suit our unique location and the needs of our patients.

Why This Matters for You

Until recently, X-rays required an external referral. That meant booking a separate appointment, travelling to another clinic, and then returning to us for review and treatment. Now, thanks to our in-house system, you can have your X-rays taken right here during your appointment, reducing delays and streamlining your care plan.

This not only saves time, it allows us to start or adjust treatment immediately based on your images.

Designed for Patient Safety & Comfort

We engaged Medic Cloud (www.MedicCloud.com.au), a specialist in medical imaging systems, to carry out the supply and installation. Their expertise in non-standard clinic environments made them the ideal partner, especially since our building layout and room size presented a few logistical challenges.

Medic Cloud sourced and installed the DRGEM digital X-ray system, typically used in mobile medical vans and military applications, and adapted it specifically for our compact space. Despite the complexity, they completed the entire setup with a strong focus on patient safety, comfort, and compliance.

What Makes This X-ray System Different?

Low Radiation Exposure: The system delivers up to 30% less radiation than traditional X-ray units, without compromising on image quality. No Need for External Referrals: Everything is handled in-clinic — no extra trips, no waiting. Fast, Accurate Results: We can review your images immediately, which means faster answers and faster care.

Built with Care, for Care

Medic Cloud also ensured the clinic was radiation-safe by installing shielding designed to maximise protection while preserving space. This allows us to operate the system safely, even in a tight layout, and continue offering the same calm, comfortable experience you expect at Chirokinetix.

We’re proud to invest in technology that aligns with our values: evidence-based care, convenience, and your wellbeing at the centre of it all.

If you have any questions about our new X-ray capabilities or how it may be used as part of your care, don’t hesitate to speak with your practitioner at your next visit.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you're feeling stiff, sore, mentally drained, or not moving the way you used to, massage therapy could help. It’s suitable for a wide range of people, whether you're recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, or simply need to reset.

Remedial massage goes beyond relaxation. It focuses on treating soft tissue issues like tight muscles, poor circulation, and restricted movement using targeted techniques that support real physical recovery.

You might feel relief after just one session, especially for mild tension. But ongoing concerns like chronic pain or posture-related issues often require a few consistent treatments to achieve long-term results.

Absolutely. Massage doesn't just ease the body, it also helps calm the mind. Many clients find that regular sessions improve mood, sleep quality, and overall emotional balance.

Not much is needed—just come as you are. We recommend wearing loose, comfortable clothing and arriving a few minutes early to relax before your treatment. If it's your first visit, your therapist will go through a short consultation to understand your needs, preferences, and any areas of concern.
